malas and bracelets designed to ignite inner light

Trikona Designs are handmade mala beads created by Jessica DiLorenzo. They are inspired by all of the tiny little precious moments that make up a life. Trikona, meaning triangle in Sanskrit, is the name of a strong and engaging pose that can guide us to feel like we are beaming light out in all directions. Whether we use our beads for a japa mantra practice or wear them as sweet pieces of jewelry, they remind us that the qualities we strive to obtain- courage, strength, grace, love all come from within our own hearts. May these pieces move you to dive into your heart and rise up FULL of grace and fierce love, ready to illuminate the world with your unique spectrum of light.

Jessie's passion for creating these pieces fully blossomed during the most difficult time in her life, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In order to pay forward the love and generosity offered to her during her journey, a large portion of proceeds are being used to launch a non-profit called Radiant Warriors Foundation.  This is an organization dedicated to nurturing, educating, and empowering women clearing breast cancer with grace, Radiant Warriors' mission is to gift women facing a diagnosis a carefully curated collection of goods that promote self-love and care, and to connect them to a community of healing professionals and practices that elevate physical and emotional wellness. Mala beads are a set of 108 beads that have traditionally been used to accompany a japa mantra practice. This is a beautiful way of keeping track of how many times you speak a chosen mantra. Japa is a Sanskrit word that means "to repeat in a low voice or a whisper". In addition to the 108, there is a muru, or mountain bead, that is said to hold the intention and energy of your practice. The mala is traditionally held in the right hand, resting on the middle finger. Starting with the bead right next to your meru, you can use your thumb to pull each bead towards you, whispering your heartfelt mantra or intention as you go along at your own pace. A mantra is a word, sound, or phrase repeated to aid in your concentration. The word mantra roughly translates to “free your mind”! It can be as simple and as powerful as “I am love” or “Aham Prema” in Sanskrit. When you reach your meru bead once again, you can switch directions and go another round until your beautiful heart is content.

You don't have to be religious or have an attachment to any spiritual practice to wear and feel the benefits of these pieces. You can simply wear them as a reminder of all of the beauty and strength that resides within YOU! They can also remind you of dreams you are journeying towards and your ability to calm your mind and body by using the simple gift of your breath.

Each mala is a unique combination of gemstones, seeds, and sandalwood. The gemstones Jess uses are believed to offer different healing qualities. For example, rose quartz is believed to open the heart chakra and elevate self-love, and amazonite can help you tap in to your truest most authentic self.

May you be happy and free and enjoy every moment of this practice! Much LOVE, Jess
